Introducing our first Sustainability Report
We are pleased to announce the publication of our first Sustainability Report, a document that represents a key step in our commitment to a greener and more sustainable future. This report not only outlines our sustainability initiatives and progress, but also includes a detailed calculation of the Carbon Footprint of our headquarter.
The calculation of the Carbon Footprint of our plant located at Via Lago di Misurina is one of the key elements of the report. This calculation allowed us to identify the main sources of emissions and identify targeted strategies to reduce them.
“Our first sustainability report is a milestone that comes at a particularly significant time, as the company approaches celebrating 80 years of history, the last 20 of which have been under my leadership,” says our CEO & President Laura Dalla Vecchia. “For Polidoro, environmental sustainability is not a new challenge, but it’s what we do every day through our Research Center, constantly striving to offer solutions that help our customers reduce the impact of their appliances.
“The 2024 sustainability report represents a starting point for us. It is the result of a great deal of data collection work, which allows us to take an accurate picture of our company today, and gives us a solid foundation on which to build our future.”
